AVDP. - THE HEART OF JS VOCAL AND PERFORMANCE STUDIOS
PROGRAM CLASSES AVAILABLE FOR AGES FROM 9.5 - 18+ YEARS
AVDP is the central training hub of JS Vocal and Performance Studios, thoughtfully designed to support artistic growth from a student’s very first step on stage through to confident triple threat performance. Our structured pathway guides students seamlessly from YOUNGSTARS, into AVDP JNR!, and onward to advanced performance and career-focused training.
With a strong focus on singing, movement, Artist Development, and performance, AVDP delivers high-quality, age-appropriate training in a professional yet nurturing environment. Programs include our 2-hour weekly combination classes for students aged 9.5–18+, bringing together vocal technique, solo and group repertoire, movement, performance training, and additional AVDP subjects. Each session is carefully crafted to develop technique, confidence, and stage presence, while fostering creativity, discipline, and a love for performing.
AVDP is where passion meets purpose—shaping well-rounded performers with the skills, mindset, and confidence to shine, with the flexibility to create your own timetable through our additional JS classes.

AVDP. JNR!
FOR AGES 6 - 9 YEARS
Our AVDP JNR! program is a specially designed, all-in-one performance experience for young aspiring performers aged 6–9 years. This program combines singing, music, movement, and stage performance into a fun, structured, and supportive environment.
Students engage in dynamic vocal exercises, rhythm and music games, movement and dance activities, and performance training, helping them build confidence, creativity, and foundational skills. Each session encourages exploration, teamwork, and artistic growth, ensuring every child develops their talents while enjoying the magic of performing.
Whether your junior is discovering their love for music or aiming to develop strong performance skills, AVDP JNR! nurtures every young performer’s potential from the very first class.

Shine on Stage: YOUNGSTARS – Preschool Performer Program
YOUNGSTARS
Our YOUNGSTARS program is an in-house, custom program created specifically for our upcoming YOUNGSTARS students, offering a vibrant, introductory performance experience for children aged 3–5 years.
Through playful music games, creative movement, and early-stage performance activities, little ones develop confidence, coordination, rhythm, and expressive skills in a fun and supportive environment. Each session encourages exploration, imagination, and joy, giving every child the opportunity to shine on stage while building foundational performance skills.

CUA40520 CERT IV IN MUSICAL THEATRE
Our CERT IV is available part‑time for students aged 16+, providing professional training in singing, dance, and acting to help develop confident triple‑threat performers. Students can complete this qualification while continuing school, and it can count towards your Queensland Senior School Certificate (Year 12).
This pathway blends industry‑relevant skills with recognised academic credit, empowering young performers to grow both artistically and academically.
CUA50220 DIPLOMA OF MUSICAL THEATRE
The Diploma offers advanced, part‑time training in singing, dance, and acting for performers ready to deepen their craft and prepare for industry opportunities. Designed for students aged 16+, this qualification builds on Cert IV foundations and continues to support Queensland Year 12 credentialing where applicable.
With a focus on performance readiness, versatility, and professional skill development, the Diploma equips students with the confidence and capability to pursue work or further training in musical theatre and related performance fields.
