FAQ
WILL THE DIRECTOR BE TEACHING ME?
Jess is the consultant who will be there to help discuss the right course of action on your journey at JS Vocal and Performance. We have hand-selected a team of teachers to help accommodate certain classes including film & acting, musical theatre, music tuition and guest teachers for Cert IV & Diploma.
Jess will be directing all showcase and production events for the studio.
DO I HAVE TO AUDTION TO BE A STUDENT?
Auditions are only required for our part-time certified courses for cert IV and Diploma students. No audition is necessary to be a student for our part-time programs although it is required to have an assessment with our director upon arrival to help create a timetable of tuition that is suitable for each student.
DOES IT MATTER IF I HAVE NO TRAINING OR A BEGINNER STUDENT?
No training is required as we are able to accommodate all levels from beginner - pre/professional students at our studio.
WHAT STUDENTS GET TO PERFORM?
All of our classes and students have the opportunity and are encouraged to perform in our showcase events. Depending on your class vary what you will get to perform within the show and your specific performance and training goals.

Due to availability, all students are required to fill the term to confirm your position.
IS IT COMPULSORY TO PERFORM IF I'M TOO NERVOUS?
If you are not ready for stage and want to enjoy our classes for recreational purposes only this is ok and are still welcome to join, but we do encourage all of our students to participate as this is a vital part of your performance development to help grow and boost your confidence.
