ARTIST VOCAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
VOCAL AND PERFORMANCE TRAINING PROGRAM | FROM 8 YEARS - PRE PROFESSIONAL
A custom Artist Vocal Development Program directed by Jess Stokes that has been created for industry training and mentorship.
Focusing on students who are passionate about the performing arts and entertainment field who are looking to pursue their skills as a performer.
The program is a 2 hour weekly combination class running over 4 school terms designed to cover artistic development in both practical and branding studies, covering the basics for pop and contemporary music for singers, singer-songwriters, artists, dancers, musicians/vocalists and other multi-skilled performers.
Covering artist development subjects over the 4 school terms of the year that help educate and guide our students on how to grow their basic development skills as versatile performers for the industry.
Providing live performance opportunities within our studio events in collaboration with their full skill set with each student including vocals, dance and live music using industry elements for performance training and confidence building.
These classes are available on Mondays and Tuesdays for ages 8 years to pre-professional levels.
PERFORMANCE & MOVEMENT
Our performance training is developed through song & movement, travelling exercises, choreography and creative direction. As a performer, this is an essential part of training to help build confidence and connectedness to our body and audience members by leading the stage.
ENSEMBLE & SOLO REPERTOIRE
Training our vocals in ensemble helps us open our ear training for both recording and live performances for a wider perception. It helps us focus on amplifying the lead vocals with harmonies and collaboration skills.
Solo repertoire is for lead vocal training which is executed through authenticity and power with our vocal technique in a safe and nurturing environment.
RECORDING & PRODUCTION
Our vocal training in recording and production helps us play behind the mic in an intimate setting in collaboration with a producer. This helps us discover and play through tone, authenticity, style and execution as an artist, singer or singer-songwriter .
BRANDING & STYLING
Discovering how we want to perceive ourselves as artists to the world with our styling and branding studies. Getting out of our comfort zones and thinking outside the box as a brand and learning how we're able to achieve a look step by step.
FILM & CONTENT
Learning how to move and perform behind the camera by executing our performances through music and vocals. Each student has the opportunity to create professional content to help build their brand as performers with a step by step guide for social media.
LIVE PERFORMANCES
Our AVDP students work towards 2x showcase events a year putting on live performance pieces in front of a live audience. This showcase allows our students to work with dancers, musicians and live production collaborations within the studio to help build their confidence in a live and professional environment.
