INDUSTRY PROFESSIONAL JESS STOKES HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED IN THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY FOR OVER THE PAST 20 YEARS
Some of my fondest memories have been from back in my training years with my peers, mentors and some of my closest, oldest friendships who still have and play a major part in my life.
Our training years impact the people we grow into, who we are today, our lessons, experiences and the love and support we need to be able to accomplish and achieve our goals in our careers and life experiences.
Having the freedom to express ourselves through music, singing and the creative arts as young people and adults is one of the greatest gifts you can have. This is the drive that has inspired me to welcome and keep growing our JS community!
Jess Stokes lives and breathes the entertainment industry, sharing her expertise and knowledge is a force to reckon with when educating the up-and-coming generation of aspiring singers and performers.
Experiencing not only the expectations of performers and artists in Australia but worldwide. It’s a clear and relevant factor that versatility and multiple skills under your belt as a creative opens you up to a long, successful and fulfilling career including a world of endless opportunities and life skills at any age.
Jess has spent the last 20 years of her performance career as both a professional dancer and singer working alongside some of the biggest artists in the world and being involved with Australia’s TV networks, films and production companies including; Jessica Mauboy, PINK, Kylie Minogue, Rikki Lee, Havana Brown, The Veronicas, Ava Max, Zara Laarson, So You Think You Can Dance AU - top 6 finalist, Happy Feet 2, X Factor, The Voice, Australian Idol and many more..
Her passion for performing has also gone hand in hand with teaching and mentoring the up-and-coming generation for over a decade. Not only has she toured nationally around Australian studios sharing her knowledge in expertise via workshop classes and full-time performing art courses, but she also has had the opportunity of being the head of the department to help mentor and guide young pre-professional programs in Queensland.
Since then, Jess has ventured out on her own to build a community that aligns with her specific values and helps inspire and nurture young aspiring artists and performers looking to expand their skills, build their confidence and create their own path for their future.
